graduation season

All I can say is that a part of me is glad that the last two weeks are over. I was so busy going to my nephews and niece graduations. It's always makes me a bit sad to think that they are getting older. As they move further into adolescence, I think back to when I held them and they were babies.  Now they ask me questions about getting older, and what my sister was like in school. :)  And of course what kind of sports I played. I tell them that I was sort of the band/art geek. I don't think they are too impressed.

Change of mind...

So I know what I want to do in our living room. I have the ideas mapped out in my head. However, when it comes to the bedroom, I go back and forth.  I change my mind, I see something that I like, and want to incorporate it somehow. Few days pass, I see something else, and now I've changed my mind. There will come a point where I know what I want, and it will become full bloom. Hopefully soon.

Will and Kate

Well I know that I am a little late, but last weekend marked Kate and William's 1 year anniversary. I remember waking up late (3:45 a.m.), and being so bummed that that I had already missed so much. It was a magical morning. As I looked outside and could see all the other blue lights coming from my neighbors windows. Knowing that they too, were crazy (like me), to be up at such an awful early hour. All I can say is that it was allll worth it, to see such a wonderful wedding, live on t.v. and full of love.

Out and about

 A couple of weeks ago, me and Irvin went to Red Bluff for another run that Irvin has been gearing up for. The location was remote, and definitely worth the drive. It's always wonderful to have the chance to visit nearby areas and to view it's all natural beauty.

Warm weather ahead

Warmer weather is arriving, and oh, how I realize that I am not quite ready for it. By updating my wardrobe with items that are chic, fun, and in brighter colors, and finding ways to wear my hair up in a more dramatic fashion.  Please keep in mind that I have  still not mastered the effortless, "sexy bun" look,  (my buns tend to look more secretarial than hip - more on that later). But for now, thoughts on gearing up for the warmer days, and light breezy nights via Scarlett.

Goodbye March

Well the last weekend in March, was definitely full of spring like activities. First off, Saturday it was rain, rain and more rain.

However Sunday was a good day for a... run. Well I had the wonderful opportunity to sit in the sun and read, while my boyfriend, had the priviledge to run on the muddy trails.
