Winter is a season that is often seen as cold, dreary, wet and long. However with winter comes hot chocolate, cozy sweaters and fireplaces crackling through the night. You can snuggle and not get hot like during the summer. Or you can stay inside and watch the rain or snow fall. Which brought me to this lovely porch. Perfect for winter nights.

Days come and go. Some days are perfect, calm and full of sweetness. Some days are long, they drag on and are calling to go home, eat ice cream and watch Bridget Jones.  Today was a day like that. Looking forward to the new day ahead.
