Santa Cruz weekend

I had the chance to visit Santa Cruz this last weekend. Beautiful beach town, that I wish I could visit more often. The weather was cool, and the sun peaked out most of the day on Saturday. Next time I think we need to stay a bit longer.

Fall is upon us

Where did the last two months go! Well, the Autumn season is here. The time of year that I absolutely adore. The crisp mornings, the warm sweaters, hot cider and hot chocolate. How could anyone not love the snugginess of this season? I love this season, and can't wait to embrace it.

Long time no see

Okay, I've had a busy, busy month. I went to Los Angeles a couple of weekends ago, and it was nice to get away. It was also so nice to see my older brother and his family. Because of the distance, I definitely do not get to see them as often I would like. :(   . But it is always a good idea to take the time and visit. :)

I was also able to visit Beverly Hills and the Grove.

Taking a break

Okay so my month break is over, I can't believe it's been this long since my last post! I have been sick unfortunately, which took too much time away from my pending projects. I have decided to complete one project before I start the next. :)

I Love Color

I always tend to gravitate towards color. I think color is always fun, and brings such an unexpected element, and it just brings you in to the area. Unless you're afraid of color. :) Which you shouldn't, because all I can say is that you're missing out.

graduation season

All I can say is that a part of me is glad that the last two weeks are over. I was so busy going to my nephews and niece graduations. It's always makes me a bit sad to think that they are getting older. As they move further into adolescence, I think back to when I held them and they were babies.  Now they ask me questions about getting older, and what my sister was like in school. :)  And of course what kind of sports I played. I tell them that I was sort of the band/art geek. I don't think they are too impressed.
